Civil Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, design, supervision, and management of civil engineering projects. Your expertise will ensure that all projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in strict adherence to budgetary constraints, regulatory standards, and industry best practices. Key Responsibilities

The Civil Engineer will play a central role in driving the success of our projects by performing a diverse range of critical tasks, including:

• Project Planning and Design: Develop comprehensive project plans, designs, and specifications for civil engineering initiatives, ensuring alignment with client requirements, technical feasibility, and sustainability goals.
• Technical Review and Documentation: Evaluate engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical documents to verify accuracy, compliance, and adherence to industry standards.
• Construction Supervision: Oversee contractors, consultants, and on-site activities to maintain the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance throughout the construction process.
• Project Management: Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency, while proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks.
• Site Inspections and Quality Assurance: Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with safety protocols, quality benchmarks, and project specifications, addressing any deviations promptly.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Facilitate seamless collaboration with architects, MEP engineers, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive project execution and alignment with overarching objectives.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed technical reports, progress updates, and project documentation to maintain transparency, accountability, and regulatory compliance.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Evaluate project risks, propose data-driven solutions, and implement corrective measures to minimize disruptions and rework.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to local regulations, building codes, environmental standards, and company policies to mitigate legal and operational risks.
• Procurement Support: Review technical submittals, material specifications, and procurement activities to ensure alignment with project requirements and industry standards.
• Team Leadership and Mentorship: Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to junior engineers and team members to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

  Qualifications and Experience

  To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Professional Certification: A Professional Engineering (PE) certification or equivalent is highly desirable and will be considered a significant advantage.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, construction management, or project execution, with a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and project management frameworks, supported by hands-on experience with industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Primavera P6, and MS Project.
