Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for driving the local medical strategy by crafting and executing a scientifically robust, differentiated value proposition across the lifecycle of our assets. Your responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Medical Leadership: Proactively shape and implement the medical strategy to communicate a compelling, evidence-based value story that resonates with stakeholders and aligns with Roche’s long-term objectives.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and maintain deep, peer-to-peer relationships with Top Academic Experts (TAEs) and healthcare professionals. Dedicate significant in-field time to engage in non-promotional scientific exchanges, fostering collaborative partnerships that drive medical innovation.
• Clinical Insight Translation: Systematically collect, analyze, and interpret field-based insights, including patient perspectives, to inform cross-functional disease strategies and identify critical clinical gaps. Your insights will be instrumental in shaping future research and development initiatives.
• Scientific Education & Capability Building: Deliver high-quality medical education programs, support internal team development, and lead scientific advisory boards to enhance clinical confidence and facilitate the adoption of best practices in patient care.
• Clinical Research & Access Support: Collaborate closely with Clinical Operations and Regulatory teams to engage study sites, facilitate health authority interactions, and assess local trial feasibility. Your efforts will be vital in accelerating the delivery of our clinical pipeline.
• Data Integrity & Governance: Act as a custodian of medical and competitor data, ensuring adherence to rigorous scientific standards, ethical guidelines, and human-in-the-loop validation processes for digital and medical information inquiries.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are seeking a scientifically curious and empathetic professional who thrives in cross-functional environments and is deeply committed to translating complex data into meaningful health outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Advanced Scientific Education: A completed degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, or Natural Sciences (MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent) is required.
• Medical Affairs Expertise: Demonstrated experience within Medical Affairs, Clinical Research, or a related clinical role within a therapeutic domain, particularly in malignant hematology.
• Exceptional Communication & Engagement: Strong, assertive communication skills with a proven ability to engage in peer-to-peer scientific dialogue with external clinical leaders. Your ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively will be essential.
• Strategic & Digital Acumen: A strategic mindset with the ability to adapt comfortably to digital tools and platforms. You will also understand the importance of human oversight when leveraging AI-derived scientific content to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is mandatory for global collaboration, and fluency in Arabic is required to effectively engage with local healthcare ecosystems and stakeholders.
