Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Design Engineer – Water, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of water-related infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications. Your core duties will include:

• Project Leadership: Spearhead the design process for water treatment plants, distribution networks, wastewater systems, and hydraulic structures, providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and designers.
• Technical Expertise: Apply advanced knowledge of water engineering principles, including hydrology, hydraulics, and environmental considerations, to develop robust and efficient solutions.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs adhere to local and international codes, such as Saudi Water Authority standards, environmental regulations, and safety protocols.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Engineering (or a related field) from an accredited institution. A Master’s degree or professional certification in water engineering is highly desirable.
• Professional Licensure: Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in water infrastructure design, with a proven track record in leading complex projects from conception to completion.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, EPANET, HEC-RAS) and strong knowledge of hydraulic modeling tools.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
