Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the following core functions:

• Equipment Lifecycle Management: Oversee the procurement, installation, maintenance, and disposal of surgical equipment, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Operational Excellence: Implement best practices to minimize equipment downtime, optimize performance, and enhance reliability in high-stakes surgical environments.
• Vendor & Supplier Coordination: Collaborate with external vendors and internal teams to source high-quality equipment, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely deliveries.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure all equipment adheres to local and international regulations, including ISO, FDA, and Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) guidelines.
• Training & Support: Develop and deliver training programs for staff on equipment usage, maintenance protocols, and safety procedures.
• Budget & Cost Control: Manage equipment-related budgets, track expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Strategic Planning: Align equipment strategies with organizational goals, anticipate future needs, and recommend upgrades or replacements to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

• A bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
• Proven experience (5+ years) in surgical equipment management, medical device operations, or a similar technical leadership role.
• Deep knowledge of surgical equipment, including sterilization, maintenance, and troubleshooting protocols.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities to collaborate with medical staff, engineers, and cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, including SFDA, ISO 13485, and FDA compliance.
• Proficiency in project management and budget oversight.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (both written and spoken).
