Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, ensuring adherence to brand standards, policies, and procedures. This includes managing inventory, visual merchandising, and maintaining a high level of store presentation to reflect MIU MIU’s aesthetic and brand identity.
• Team Management: Support the Store Manager in leading, motivating, and developing a high-performing team of retail associates. This involves conducting performance reviews, providing coaching and feedback, and fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
• Customer Experience: Ensure that every customer interaction aligns with MIU MIU’s commitment to luxury and exclusivity. Address customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and cultivate long-term relationships to enhance brand loyalty and satisfaction.
• Sales and Performance: Contribute to achieving and exceeding sales targets by driving foot traffic, promoting new collections, and implementing effective sales strategies. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, average transaction value, and customer retention.
• Loss Prevention and Compliance: Collaborate with the Store Manager to implement and enforce loss prevention measures, ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations. This includes conducting regular audits, managing stock discrepancies, and mitigating risks to protect the brand’s assets.
• Training and Development: Assist in onboarding new employees and providing ongoing training to ensure the team remains knowledgeable about product features, brand values, and customer service best practices.
• Collaboration with Head Office: Act as a liaison between the store and the MIU MIU head office, relaying feedback, market insights, and operational challenges to drive continuous improvement and alignment with corporate goals.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of retail management experience, preferably in the luxury fashion sector. Prior experience as an Assistant Store Manager or in a similar leadership role is highly desirable.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field is preferred.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, with a strong focus on achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
• Retail Acumen: In-depth knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and sales analytics. Familiarity with luxury brand standards and customer expectations is essential.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers, team members, and corporate stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and adapt to changing business needs.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Arabic is required. Additional languages are a plus.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in retail management software, POS systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
