Al-Futtaim is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Manager to oversee and lead operations across multiple locations in Jeddah. Key Responsibilities

The Area Manager will be entrusted with a broad spectrum of responsibilities, including:

• Operational Leadership: Provide hands-on leadership to store or branch managers, ensuring adherence to company policies, standards, and operational protocols while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) across the area, identifying trends, addressing gaps, and implementing corrective actions to enhance profitability, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute area-specific strategies that align with the company’s long-term objectives, including expansion initiatives, market penetration, and customer engagement programs.
• Team Development: Mentor and develop high-performing teams by identifying talent, providing coaching, and fostering a collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and professional growth.
• Customer Experience Excellence: Ensure that all customer touchpoints within the area deliver a seamless, high-quality experience by implementing best practices in service delivery, complaint resolution, and brand consistency.
• Financial Oversight: Oversee budgetary controls, cost management, and revenue generation to maximize profitability while maintaining financial discipline and compliance with corporate financial policies.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure full compliance with local regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies, while proactively mitigating risks to protect the organization’s reputation and assets.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive management experience, with at least 5 years in an area management or multi-site leadership role within the retail, hospitality, or service sectors.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, drive performance, and foster a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong aptitude for data analysis, trend identification, and strategic decision-making to optimize operational and financial outcomes.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management, employees, and customers.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with retail management systems or enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools.
