Position Overview

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Director - Workplace (Urban Core) to lead and oversee the development of our flagship workplace projects in the urban core of Qiddiya. This pivotal role will be responsible for driving the strategic vision, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering world-class workplace environments that align with Qiddiya’s long-term vision of becoming a global destination for entertainment, sports, and culture. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in large-scale project management, a deep understanding of urban development principles, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and government entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive project strategy that aligns with Qiddiya’s mission, ensuring the delivery of high-quality workplace environments that meet the needs of modern businesses and employees.
• Project Execution: Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, from planning and design to construction and handover, while adhering to budgetary constraints, timelines, and quality standards.
• Stakeholder Management: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, government agencies, contractors, and consultants to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment with project objectives.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure the successful delivery of the project.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary project team, including architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants, to achieve project goals and deliver exceptional results.
• Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to local and international regulations, industry standards, and Qiddiya’s corporate policies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Innovation and Sustainability: Integrate innovative design principles and sustainable practices into the workplace environment to create a cutting-edge, eco-friendly, and future-ready space.
• Performance Monitoring: Implement robust performance tracking systems to measure project progress, identify areas for improvement, and ensure continuous delivery excellence.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, LEED) is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in project management, with at least 10 years in a leadership role overseeing large-scale workplace or urban development projects. Experience in the Middle East or Saudi Arabia is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project), strong knowledge of construction methodologies, and familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and sustainable design practices.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to inspire and lead diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.

Location and Commitment

This is an on-site position based in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be required to relocate to the project site and commit to a full-time role, with flexibility to accommodate travel as needed to support project objectives.
