Key Responsibilities

The Senior Personnel Technician will be responsible for a wide range of duties that are essential to maintaining the efficiency and integrity of Almarai’s personnel management systems. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Personnel Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel records, ensuring all employee data is securely stored and easily accessible in compliance with local and international data protection standards.
• Payroll and Compensation Administration: Collaborate with the finance and HR teams to process payroll, manage employee benefits, and ensure timely disbursement of salaries and allowances in accordance with company policies and labor laws.
• Employee Documentation: Oversee the preparation, verification, and issuance of employment contracts, offer letters, and other essential documents, while ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
• Compliance and Reporting: Monitor and report on labor law compliance, including work permits, residency visas, and other immigration-related documentation for expatriate employees. Prepare and submit mandatory reports to government authorities as required.
• Employee Relations Support: Act as a liaison between employees and management, addressing inquiries related to personnel policies, benefits, and employment terms. Provide guidance to employees on HR-related matters to foster a positive and productive work environment.
• System and Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance personnel management systems and processes, implementing best practices to improve efficiency, accuracy, and employee satisfaction.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must possess a blend of technical expertise and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications in HR or personnel management are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of five years of progressive experience in personnel administration, HR operations, or a similar role within a corporate environment. Prior experience in the food and beverage industry or large-scale manufacturing is advantageous.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong command of HR management systems (HRMS) and payroll software. Familiarity with Saudi labor laws, including the Wage Protection System (WPS) and Nitaqat compliance, is essential.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English. The ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels of the organization is critical.
• Analytical Abilities: Strong attention to detail and the capacity to analyze data to identify trends, resolve discrepancies, and make informed recommendations.
