Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a broad spectrum of strategic and operational leadership responsibilities:

• Strategic Roadmap & Platform Leadership: Translate enterprise-wide data and AI strategies into actionable engineering roadmaps, ensuring platforms align with business objectives and digital transformation goals. Drive platform enablement initiatives that support analytics, AI, and enterprise reporting needs.
• Platform Engineering & Operational Excellence: Oversee the full lifecycle of data and AI platforms, from design and deployment to ongoing monitoring and optimization. Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance while adhering to enterprise security, resilience, and compliance standards.
• AI & Analytics Enablement: Empower business teams and data scientists with high-quality, accessible data and cutting-edge tools to accelerate AI model development and adoption. Collaborate with analytics teams to optimize platform usage and measure the impact of AI initiatives.
• Data Integration & Flow Management: Ensure seamless data integration across applications, platforms, and enterprise systems. Manage API and middleware support for data ingestion, transformation, and distribution, maintaining data integrity and availability across the organization.
• Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Provide regular updates to senior leadership on roadmap execution, risks, and modernization priorities. Implement enterprise best practices for platform engineering, monitoring, and maintenance while maintaining comprehensive documentation for compliance and audit readiness. Drive automation and process improvements to enhance platform maturity.
• Policy, Process, and Compliance: Support the enforcement of day-to-day operational policies and procedures, identifying opportunities for cost reduction, productivity gains, and process optimization based on industry best practices.
• People Leadership: Mentor and coach team members, providing clear direction, prioritizing tasks, and fostering a high-performance culture aligned with our company values. Actively participate in training initiatives to develop talent and drive organizational growth.

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel in this role, you will bring a blend of technical expertise, strategic vision, and leadership experience:

• Experience: Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in data platform engineering, AI/ML operations, or related fields, with a proven track record of leading enterprise-scale solutions.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
• Certifications (Preferred): Industry-recognized certifications such as DAMA CDMP, TOGAF for enterprise architecture, or Agile certifications (e.g., Scrum Master, PMI-ACP, SAFe). Cloud and platform certifications (e.g., Google Cloud Professional, AWS Solutions Architect, Databricks Data Engineer) are highly valued.
• Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of data pipelines, AI/ML frameworks, cloud platforms, and enterprise integration technologies. Familiarity with data governance, security frameworks, and compliance standards is essential.
• Leadership & Collaboration: Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders, to drive alignment and innovation.
