Position Overview

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Regional Chief Financial Officer to join a prominent regional conglomerate based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Key Responsibilities

The Regional CFO will play a central role in defining and executing the regional finance strategy, overseeing critical functions to enhance financial performance and operational efficiency. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with the organisation’s growth objectives, investment priorities, and market expansion plans. Provide actionable financial insights to support executive decision-making, including mergers, acquisitions, and capital allocation.
• Financial Planning & Performance Management: Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to ensure alignment with strategic goals. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyse financial trends, and implement corrective actions to optimise profitability and operational efficiency.
• Core Finance Functions: Oversee accounting, controlling, treasury, cash management, and financial governance to maintain compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies. Ensure accurate financial reporting, robust internal controls, and adherence to IFRS and local accounting principles.
• Risk Management & Compliance: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks while ensuring compliance with corporate governance frameworks, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards. Strengthen financial controls and processes to safeguard organisational assets and enhance transparency.
• Team Leadership & Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing regional finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Develop regional finance capabilities to drive operational excellence and support cross-functional collaboration.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted strategic partner to the executive leadership team, providing financial expertise to guide major business decisions, including investment opportunities, cost optimisation initiatives, and market entry strategies. Collaborate with business unit leaders to align financial objectives with operational goals.

Ideal Candidate Profile

To excel in this role, you will bring a wealth of experience and a proven track record in regional finance leadership. The ideal candidate will possess:

• Extensive Experience: A minimum of 20 years of progressive finance experience, with significant exposure to regional and leadership roles within complex, multi-market organisations.
• Strategic Financial Acumen: Demonstrated expertise in financial strategy, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management, with a strong understanding of P&L management, working capital optimisation, and cost control.
• Regional & Cross-Border Expertise: Proven ability to lead finance functions across diverse geographies, navigating regulatory, cultural, and operational challenges to drive consistent financial performance.
• Leadership & Talent Development: A track record of building and leading high-performing finance teams, fostering talent development, and cultivating a culture of excellence and innovation.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of IFRS, financial controls, corporate governance, and ERP systems, with the ability to leverage financial reporting tools to deliver actionable insights.
• Language & Communication Skills: Fluency in Arabic is highly preferred, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
