Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Team Manager in System Operations, you will play a critical role in overseeing and enhancing the efficiency of our transport and logistics systems. Your responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize transport and logistics operations, aligning them with Almarai’s business objectives and sustainability goals.
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team of professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Operational Excellence: Ensure the smooth execution of daily operations, including fleet management, route optimization, and delivery scheduling, to meet customer demands and regulatory requirements.
• System Integration: Oversee the integration and maintenance of transport management systems (TMS) and logistics software, ensuring data accuracy, system reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
• Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and fuel consumption, and implement corrective actions to drive operational improvements.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks in transport and logistics operations and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure business continuity.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, warehouse operations, and sales, to enhance supply chain efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) is a plus.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive experience in transport and logistics operations, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of transport management systems (TMS), logistics software, and data analytics tools. Familiarity with ERP systems is advantageous.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, with a focus on talent development and performance management.
• Analytical Mindset: Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and drive data-driven improvements.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
