Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technology Platforms Expert to join our dynamic IT team. In this pivotal role, you will play a critical part in the implementation, integration, and optimization of Specialized’s technology platforms and IT applications, ensuring seamless and efficient business operations. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire application lifecycle, from initial deployment to continuous performance monitoring, security enhancements, and technical support. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers to align technology solutions with business objectives while adhering to established policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities

The Technology Platforms Expert will be accountable for the following core functions:

• Strategic Implementation and Integration: Execute and support the execution of Specialized’s IT applications plan, ensuring seamless integration with mission-critical and business-critical devices, client systems, and relevant technology environments. Facilitate the alignment of IT applications with organizational goals to enhance operational efficiency and data management.
• Application Lifecycle Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of IT applications, including requirements gathering, rigorous testing, strategic deployment, timely upgrades, and ongoing maintenance. Ensure applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability to meet evolving business demands.
• System Interoperability and Coordination: Lead the integration of IT applications with internal systems, infrastructure, devices, and network assets to guarantee seamless interoperability and uninterrupted operations. Act as a liaison between application vendors, service providers, and internal teams to deliver cohesive solutions and resolve application-related challenges.
• Performance Monitoring and Security: Continuously monitor application performance, availability, security, and scalability. Identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective and preventive actions to mitigate risks and enhance system resilience. Ensure adherence to data governance and cybersecurity frameworks to safeguard sensitive information and maintain compliance.
• Technical Support and Incident Resolution: Provide expert technical support for application-related issues, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal service disruption. Analyze recurring performance issues and collaborate with stakeholders to implement sustainable solutions that enhance system reliability and user experience.
• Process Improvement and Automation: Drive application enhancements, automation initiatives, and process improvements based on evolving business and technology requirements. Contribute to the development of innovative solutions that streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency across the organization.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Information Systems, or a closely related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in IT applications, system integration, or technology platform management.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of application lifecycle management, system integration, performance monitoring, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Communication Skills: Fluent proficiency in the English language, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues, develop actionable solutions, and implement improvements that drive operational excellence.
