Key Responsibilities

As a Medical Science Liaison specializing in Hematology, you will serve as a trusted scientific expert and strategic partner to healthcare professionals, including physicians, pharmacists, hospital managers, and key opinion leaders. Your role will be instrumental in communicating the scientific value of our products, staying at the forefront of medical and scientific advancements, and contributing to the development of innovative treatment approaches. Your responsibilities will include:

• Scientific Leadership and Expertise: Maintain an in-depth understanding of Multiple Myeloma and related hematological conditions, including the latest treatment trends, clinical studies, and therapeutic innovations. Serve as a peer-to-peer scientific resource for healthcare professionals, ensuring that all communications are evidence-based and aligned with the company’s medical strategy.
• Strategic Engagement: Develop and nurture a robust network of leading specialists and key stakeholders within the hematology community. Identify their scientific needs, treatment patterns, and value drivers to tailor meaningful interactions that support both short-term and long-term business objectives.
• Medical Communication: Proactively and reactively communicate scientific information about our products, including those within the approved label, as well as non-promotional insights into our research and development programs. Address unsolicited scientific inquiries with precision, leveraging approved Medical Affairs and Medical Information resources.
• Collaboration and Advocacy: Represent Johnson & Johnson in professional associations and scientific forums, collaborating closely with Medical Advisors, Medical Leads, and Medical Directors to champion evidence-based discussions and foster innovative approaches to patient care.
• Medical Education and Advisory Support: Design and execute high-quality medical education programs in partnership with third-party scientific entities. Support speakers with scientifically rigorous data for educational initiatives and participate in Advisory Boards to shape the future of therapeutic strategies. Provide scientific support to internal teams, including Sales Representatives, to ensure alignment with medical and business goals.
• Regulatory and Ethical Compliance: Ensure all scientific communications and engagements adhere to regulatory guidelines, company policies, and ethical standards, maintaining the highest levels of integrity and professionalism.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you must possess a strong academic and professional background in hematology or a related scientific discipline. The ideal candidate will have:

• A Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), or a PhD in a relevant scientific field, with a focus on hematology or oncology.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in a medical or scientific role, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with a demonstrated track record in medical affairs, clinical research, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in hematology, including a deep understanding of Multiple Myeloma, treatment protocols, and clinical trial landscapes.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals on a peer-to-peer basis.
• A commitment to fostering innovation, driving scientific excellence, and upholding the highest ethical standards in all professional interactions.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a strong advantage.
