Key Responsibilities

In this pivotal role, you will:

• Design and Develop Foundational Platform Services: Create scalable, modular, and reusable platform capabilities—including APIs, SDKs, and orchestration tools—that accelerate application development and reduce operational overhead.
• Integrate AI and Advanced Systems: Embed AI models, agent systems, and workflow orchestration into the platform, ensuring seamless integration with business applications while maintaining performance, reliability, and security.
• Build Secure and Identity-Aware Infrastructure: Implement robust authentication, authorization, and access control mechanisms, enforcing best practices for security at every layer of the platform.
• Enhance Developer Experience: Develop reusable templates, automation scripts, and documentation to empower engineers with self-service capabilities, reducing friction in development workflows.
• Establish Technical Standards: Define and enforce best practices for API design, service contracts, versioning, testing, and observability to ensure consistency and maintainability across the platform.
• Optimize Observability and Reliability: Integrate monitoring, tracing, and operational controls into platform services to ensure high availability, performance, and quick troubleshooting.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with infrastructure, application, and security teams to align platform capabilities with business goals, ensuring scalability, security, and seamless integration.
• Solve Recurring Engineering Challenges: Identify pain points in development and operations, then architect and implement reusable solutions that eliminate repetitive work and improve efficiency.
• Drive Technical Governance: Review code, document technical decisions, and champion engineering standards to foster a culture of best practices and continuous improvement.

Technical Environment & Expertise

To excel in this role, you will bring:

• 8+ Years of Experience: Proven expertise in software, backend, platform, or infrastructure engineering, with a strong track record of building and operating internal platforms in production environments.
• AI and Agent System Proficiency: Hands-on experience with AI-enabled applications, agent orchestration, workflow systems, and frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, or LlamaIndex. Familiarity with model gateways, retrieval systems, and guardrails for AI applications is highly valued.
• Languages & Tools: Deep proficiency in **Python and Go**, with additional experience in **Java or Node.js**. Strong command of modern cloud platforms (**AWS**), containerization (**Docker, Kubernetes**), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Expertise with **Terraform or Crossplane** to manage and automate cloud infrastructure efficiently.
• Security & Reliability Focus: A robust understanding of distributed systems, authentication (OIDC/SSO), authorization, and operational trade-offs to ensure secure, scalable, and resilient platform designs.
