Our organization is at the forefront of delivering cutting-edge operational roadside technology solutions, supporting National Highways through frameworks such as the Scheme Delivery Framework (SDF), SPaTS2, OTCF, and ITCF. As a Technology Engineer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement innovative solutions that enhance road safety, efficiency, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

In this strategic role, you will:

• Develop and deliver technically robust engineering solutions in alignment with client requirements, ensuring adherence to quality, cost, and program standards.
• Lead the creation of detailed designs, calculations, drawings, and documentation to support scheme deliverables, ensuring they meet regulatory and operational excellence benchmarks.
• Identify and mitigate design risks and hazards, communicating findings through comprehensive safety risk management documentation to Principal Contractors.
• Mentor junior team members, overseeing their work and ensuring accountability for project outcomes while fostering professional growth.
• Engage with clients and suppliers at a peer level, participating in progress meetings, resolving queries, and contributing to bid preparation efforts to secure future projects.
• Champion health and safety best practices within the team, ensuring all projects adhere to rigorous safety protocols, including Construction (Design and Management) Regulations.

What We’re Looking For

We seek a proactive and detail-oriented Technology Engineer with:

• Specialized experience in roadside technology design, preferably gained in an Assistant Engineer role or equivalent, with a focus on operational or maintenance expertise.
• Proven ability to produce technically sound solutions that comply with industry standards and client specifications.
• Proficiency in CAD design tools and a strong understanding of roadside technology design processes.
• Experience in health, safety, and welfare, including project-related tasks under regulatory frameworks.
• A can-do attitude with a commitment to continuous learning, collaboration, and self-driven excellence.
• Demonstrable teamwork and independence, balancing collective goals with individual accountability.

While a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline is preferred, we value equivalent further learning and professional development.
