Junior Repair Engineer

Mitsubishi Power Saudi Arabia is seeking a motivated and skilled Junior Repair Engineer to join our dynamic team in Saudi Arabia. As a Junior Repair Engineer, you will play a vital role in supporting the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of advanced power generation equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Support: Assist senior engineers in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Mitsubishi Power’s gas turbines, steam turbines, generators, and related systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes of equipment failures and implement effective solutions.
• Field Service Assistance: Participate in on-site repair and maintenance activities, including inspections, component replacements, and performance testing. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards while delivering high-quality service.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of repair activities, technical findings, and maintenance logs. Prepare detailed reports for internal stakeholders and clients to track equipment condition and service history.
• Continuous Learning: Engage in training programs and professional development opportunities to enhance technical expertise in power generation systems. Stay updated with the latest advancements in repair methodologies and industry best practices.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers, technicians, and project managers to support project execution and meet client expectations. Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with power generation equipment, such as gas turbines, steam turbines, or generators, is advantageous. Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems is required.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot equipment issues and propose effective solutions. Attention to detail is essential for accurate diagnostics and repairs.
• Communication Skills: Proficiency in English and Arabic (both written and verbal) to effectively communicate with team members and clients. Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and collaborate efficiently.
• Safety Awareness: Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and industry regulations to ensure a secure working environment. Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards is a plus.
• Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving project requirements. Willingness to travel domestically or internationally for field assignments as needed.
