We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented BIM Engineer to lead our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and drive excellence in Building Information Modeling for large-scale construction projects. Key Responsibilities

As a BIM Engineer at AECOM, your responsibilities will be both strategic and technical, ensuring that every project we undertake is executed with precision and foresight:

• Develop and Optimize 3D Building Information Models: Utilize industry-leading BIM software such as Revit, ArchiCAD, or Navisworks to create detailed, data-rich models that serve as the foundation for project success. Your models will integrate architectural, structural, and MEP systems to provide a cohesive digital representation of every project phase.
• Lead MEP Coordination and Clash Detection: Expertly coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems within the BIM environment, identifying and resolving conflicts to minimize delays and cost overruns. Generate comprehensive clash detection reports to inform design decisions and streamline construction workflows.
• Ensure Data Integrity and Compliance: Maintain rigorous standards for BIM deliverables, ensuring alignment with international building codes, industry protocols, and project-specific requirements. Conduct thorough quality assurance reviews to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of all digital assets.
• Foster Collaboration Across Disciplines: Act as a bridge between architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders, facilitating seamless communication and alignment on BIM strategies. Provide technical guidance and training to team members, empowering them to adopt best practices in BIM implementation.
• Support End-to-End Project Delivery: From initial design phases through construction administration and handover, your role will be critical in ensuring that BIM models support efficient project execution. Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you will bring a robust blend of technical expertise and leadership experience:

• Minimum 10 Years of BIM Engineering Experience: Proven track record in developing, managing, and coordinating BIM models for large-scale construction projects, with a focus on delivering measurable value to stakeholders.
• Mastery of BIM Software: Advanced proficiency in Revit, ArchiCAD, Navisworks, or equivalent platforms, with a deep understanding of their capabilities for modeling, visualization, and clash detection.
• MEP Coordination Expertise: Hands-on experience in integrating Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems within BIM environments, with a strong ability to resolve technical conflicts efficiently.
• Compliance and Standards Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of international building codes, BIM execution plans, and industry standards such as COBie, IFC, or other information exchange protocols.
• Project Management Acumen: Demonstrated ability to organize BIM data, enforce version control, and maintain structured file management systems to support seamless project workflows.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Aptitude for analyzing complex project requirements and translating them into actionable BIM strategies that enhance efficiency and reduce risks.
• Collaborative Leadership: Strong interpersonal skills to engage with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and clients, fostering a culture of transparency and shared objectives.
