Senior Supply Chain Consultant – Transforming Retail, Manufacturing, and Distribution Operations with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management

We are seeking an experienced Senior Supply Chain Consultant to spearhead the end-to-end implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (D365 SCM) across Al Majed4Oud’s dynamic retail, fragrance manufacturing, and distribution ecosystems. In this pivotal role, you will architect scalable, high-performance solutions that optimize procurement, inventory management, warehouse operations, product information, sales order processing, transportation, and master planning—ensuring seamless integration and transformative business outcomes.

As a key member of our consulting team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including Supply Chain, Logistics, Production, Retail, and Buying teams, to deliver a transformative digital supply chain strategy. Your expertise will be instrumental in bridging the gap between business objectives and technological execution, ensuring that every phase—from discovery and design to testing, migration, and go-live—aligns with Al Majed4Oud’s vision for operational agility and growth.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a comprehensive spectrum of responsibilities, demanding both deep technical acumen and exceptional leadership:

• Strategic Discovery & Requirements Gathering: Lead immersive workshops with key stakeholders to uncover operational pain points, conduct in-depth fit-gap analyses, and map existing processes. Craft Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and detailed process flows that serve as the blueprint for D365 SCM implementation, ensuring alignment with Microsoft best practices and industry standards.
• Solution Architecture & Configuration: Design and configure D365 SCM modules—including Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse Management (WMS), Transportation Management (TMS), Product Information Management, Sales Order Processing, and Master Planning—to reflect Al Majed4Oud’s unique operational workflows. Govern critical master data elements such as items, vendors, warehouses, locations, product variants, and Bill of Materials (BOMs) to ensure data integrity and system efficiency.
• Data Migration & System Integrations: Develop robust migration templates for essential data sets, including items, vendors, customers, and on-hand inventory, to facilitate seamless transitions. Collaborate with internal and third-party teams to integrate D365 SCM with existing systems, such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), barcode solutions, e-commerce platforms, third-party logistics (3PL) providers, and transportation management systems, ensuring interoperability and data consistency.
• Testing, Training, and Business Sign-Off: Oversee System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles, with a focus on defect triage and traceability to mitigate risks and ensure solution readiness. Develop comprehensive training materials and deliver engaging, hands-on sessions for end-users across all levels of the organization. Secure critical business sign-offs for all supply chain workstreams, ensuring stakeholder confidence and alignment before and during go-live.
• Go-Live & Post-Implementation Support: Plan and execute a meticulous cutover strategy, leading the go-live phase and providing hypercare support to address any post-implementation challenges. Serve as a Level 2 and Level 3 support resource, driving continuous improvement initiatives to refine processes and maximize system value over time.
• Governance, Documentation, and Mentorship: Maintain up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), solution documentation, and compliance matrices to ensure transparency and regulatory adherence. Support internal and external audits, reinforcing governance frameworks within the organization. Mentor junior consultants and knowledge-sharing sessions to foster a culture of continuous learning and excellence.

Required Qualifications

To thrive in this dynamic role, you must bring a blend of technical expertise, industry knowledge, and leadership skills:

• Education & Certification: A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline is required. Certification as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Associate (MB-330) is highly preferred and will strengthen your candidacy.
• Experience: A robust background of 6 to 8+ years in ERP supply chain consulting, with a minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing or supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (D365 SCM) or its predecessor, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012. Your track record should include multiple full-cycle implementations, demonstrating your ability to deliver end-to-end solutions that drive measurable business impact.
• Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in D365 SCM modules, including Procurement, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Product Information Management, Sales Order Processing, and Master Resource Planning (MRP). Strong familiarity with retail and distribution supply chain operations, as well as proficiency in data migration strategies, system integrations, and Power BI reporting tools, is essential.
