We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Regional Marketing Leader, Surgery – META to lead the commercial marketing strategy for the Saudi, Middle East, Turkey, and Africa (META) region. This pivotal role will drive portfolio growth, market development, and strategic alignment to position BD as a leader in surgical innovation across this high-potential region.

Your Impact

As the strategic liaison between BD’s global Surgery business units and the META region, you will play a critical role in translating global strategies into actionable, regionally tailored growth plans. Your leadership will ensure that BD’s innovation priorities, value propositions, and market access initiatives are effectively executed to maximize commercial success. By serving as the voice of META, you will influence global decision-making while driving revenue growth, market penetration, and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will span strategic leadership, market intelligence, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver measurable results:

• Develop and Execute a High-Impact Marketing Strategy: Lead the formulation and implementation of a data-driven marketing strategy for the META region, aligning with global Surgery priorities while addressing local market dynamics. Set and exceed revenue, gross profit (GP), and operating income before taxes (OIBT) targets through targeted commercial initiatives.
• Bridge Global and Regional Perspectives: Act as the primary conduit between BD’s Global Marketing team and META commercial operations, ensuring seamless translation of global strategies into regionally relevant tactics. Advocate for META market needs in global forums to shape innovation, product development, and launch strategies.
• Drive Upstream Marketing and Insights: Identify unmet customer needs, emerging clinical trends, and market opportunities within META. Leverage voice-of-customer insights and competitive intelligence to influence global innovation roadmaps and portfolio planning.
• Own Commercial Content and Messaging: Develop, adapt, and govern high-impact commercial marketing content—including value propositions, sales enablement tools, campaigns, digital assets, and clinical communications—to ensure consistency, relevance, and engagement across the region.
• Lead Product Launches and Market Adoption: Oversee the execution of new product launches, line extensions, and therapy development priorities, ensuring robust commercialization, adoption, and readiness plans. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful market entry and sustained growth.
• Foster Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with Country Business Leaders, Sales Managers, Product Managers, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory Affairs, Professional Education, and Global Marketing teams to align strategies, execute initiatives, and reinforce BD’s leadership in the META region.
