In this Senior Contracts Administrator role, you will be instrumental in establishing and maintaining the commercial and contractual framework for major infrastructure programs. Working closely with project teams and stakeholders, you will ensure seamless contract administration, mitigate risks, and support strategic decision-making to achieve successful program delivery. Your expertise will be critical in navigating complex contractual environments, fostering transparency, and driving value across high-profile projects.

Key Responsibilities

As the Senior Contracts Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

• Contract Review and Administration: Lead the review, drafting, and administration of contracts across intricate infrastructure programs, ensuring alignment with project objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Documentation and Compliance: Coordinate contract documentation, approvals, and compliance with internal policies, maintaining rigorous standards to support smooth project execution.
• Change Management and Claims: Support the processing of change orders, claims, and commercial correspondence with stakeholders, ensuring clarity and fairness in contractual agreements.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with project teams, commercial departments, and external stakeholders to resolve contractual and commercial challenges, fostering a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
• Strategic Decision-Making: Contribute to high-level decision-making processes by providing expert insights into contract risks, opportunities, and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you will bring a robust blend of academic qualifications and hands-on experience:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, Law, Commerce, or a related discipline is required. Professional membership with a recognized industry body such as RICS, CIArb, CIPS, ICE, or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Experience: A minimum of 15+ years in contract administration, commercial management, or contract management within major infrastructure or construction projects is essential. Preferred candidates will have:
• Proven experience managing large and complex contract portfolios in high-stakes environments.
• Leadership experience in guiding contract administration teams, driving efficiency, and ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.
• Direct experience supporting roads, highways, transportation, or major infrastructure projects, with a deep understanding of their unique challenges.
• Familiarity with public-sector or giga-project governance environments, including compliance with international standards and stakeholder expectations.
