Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of Kingdom Brokerage Re’s financial operations through meticulous technical accounting and analytical support. Your responsibilities will include:

• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Collaborate in the preparation, review, and analysis of critical financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow projections. Ensure these reports align with international accounting standards and regulatory requirements, providing stakeholders with actionable insights.
• Account Reconciliation and Compliance: Perform thorough reconciliations of bank statements, client accounts, and reinsurance settlements to maintain financial accuracy. Monitor compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory frameworks, mitigating risks and ensuring seamless audit readiness.
• Technical Accounting and Process Improvement: Support month-end and year-end closing activities by analyzing financial data, resolving discrepancies, and implementing process enhancements. Assist in the maintenance and optimization of accounting software and systems to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
• Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Provide timely updates to clients regarding premium collections, claim settlements, and financial requests. Act as a trusted advisor, ensuring transparency and fostering strong relationships built on professionalism and reliability.
• Budgeting, Forecasting, and VAT Management: Assist in the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and projections to support strategic decision-making. Ensure meticulous documentation and record-keeping of VAT transactions for accurate reporting and audit compliance.
• Audit Support and Risk Mitigation: Prepare and organize documentation for internal and external audits, demonstrating adherence to best practices and regulatory standards. Contribute to identifying and resolving accounting discrepancies to uphold the firm’s reputation for accuracy.

Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. Advanced certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are a significant advantage.
• Experience: At least one year of experience in public accounting or a comparable technical accounting environment. Familiarity with reinsurance accounting principles is highly beneficial.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., SAP, Hyperion, or similar) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, and data analysis) are essential.
• Regulatory and Compliance Expertise: Deep understanding of accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and Saudi Arabian regulatory frameworks, including VAT compliance.
• Communication and Collaboration: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, internal teams, and external auditors. Fluency in Arabic is a plus.
• Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and propose data-driven solutions to improve processes and mitigate risks.
