As the PMIS Manager, you will play a central role in transforming raw project data into actionable insights, empowering stakeholders across the organization to make informed, timely, and impactful decisions. Key Responsibilities

Your strategic leadership will be defined by the following critical responsibilities:

• Strategic PMIS Leadership: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of PMIS implementation, ensuring alignment with JASARA PMC’s long-term business objectives and project-specific goals. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system functionality, scalability, and user adoption.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with project teams, executives, and cross-functional departments to define PMIS requirements, configure systems, and integrate them seamlessly into existing workflows. Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clarity, consistency, and buy-in.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage advanced analytics and reporting tools to monitor project performance, identify trends, and generate insights that inform strategic adjustments. Present data-driven recommendations to leadership, ensuring that every decision is grounded in evidence and foresight.
• Training and Change Management: Develop comprehensive training programs and documentation to empower teams in leveraging PMIS tools effectively. Foster a culture of continuous learning and adaptability, ensuring that all users—from junior team members to senior executives—are equipped to maximize system potential.
• System Enhancement and Innovation: Conduct regular evaluations of PMIS performance, gathering feedback from end-users to identify pain points and opportunities for enhancement. Recommend and implement upgrades that align with evolving project needs and industry best practices.
• Data Governance and Security: Uphold the highest standards of data integrity, confidentiality, and security, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations such as GDPR, ISO 27001, or other relevant frameworks. Mitigate risks associated with data handling and system vulnerabilities.
• Technological Vigilance: Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies in PMIS, evaluating new tools and methodologies to keep our systems at the forefront of innovation. Proactively identify opportunities for automation, AI integration, or other advancements that can enhance efficiency.
• IT Collaboration and Risk Mitigation: Work closely with IT teams to ensure seamless system integration, troubleshooting, and scalability. Develop risk assessment frameworks to preemptively identify potential challenges and devise mitigation strategies.
• Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with external PMIS vendors, ensuring that service level agreements (SLAs) are met and vendor performance aligns with organizational needs. Negotiate contracts and partnerships that deliver value and reliability.

Requirements

To excel in this transformative role, you must possess a blend of technical expertise, strategic vision, and leadership acumen. We are looking for:

• Advanced Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related discipline. Advanced certifications or a Master’s degree in a relevant field is a significant advantage.
• Proven Expertise in PMIS: At least 10+ years of hands-on experience in managing and optimizing Project Management Information Systems, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial or leadership capacity. Your track record should demonstrate a deep understanding of how PMIS drives project success.
• Technical Proficiency: Extensive knowledge of industry-leading PMIS tools and software, with particular expertise in Oracle (Unifier, Primavera P6), Microsoft Project, or similar platforms. Familiarity with ERP systems, cloud-based solutions, and data visualization tools is highly desirable.
• Data Analytics and Reporting: Strong skills in data analysis, reporting, and performance metrics. Experience in using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or SQL to extract, analyze, and present data in meaningful ways.
• Multitasking and Prioritization: The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and deliver results under tight deadlines without compromising quality.
• Leadership and Communication: Exceptional communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. A natural leader who can inspire teams, resolve conflicts, and foster collaboration across departments.
• Certifications: Preferred certifications include PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or other relevant credentials. Oracle-specific certifications (e.g., Oracle Unifier, Oracle P6) are a strong plus.
• Data Security and Compliance: A solid understanding of data security standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure that all PMIS operations adhere to industry and organizational policies.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following qualifications will further distinguish your candidacy:

• Certifications in Oracle-related PMIS tools (e.g., Oracle Unifier, Oracle P6).
• Experience with Agile project management methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban frameworks.
• A demonstrated ability to drive digital transformation initiatives within project management environments.
• Experience in implementing PMIS solutions for large-scale, complex projects in industries such as construction, engineering, or consulting.
