Key Responsibilities

As the Senior Backend Developer (Tech Lead), your responsibilities will include:

• Architect and Lead Backend Development: Design and oversee the implementation of high-performance backend systems using ASP.NET Core, ensuring optimal scalability, reliability, and performance for our platform’s growing user base.
• Drive Technological Migration: Lead the strategic migration from .NET Framework to .NET Core/.NET 8, ensuring minimal downtime, maximum efficiency, and future-proofing of our backend infrastructure.
• Develop Microservices and Event-Driven Solutions: Specify and implement microservices architecture and event-driven systems to enhance modularity, resilience, and real-time capabilities.
• Mentor and Lead Teams: Guide and mentor backend developers, conduct rigorous code reviews, and foster a collaborative environment that prioritizes best practices, clean code, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure Secure and Efficient Integrations: Oversee integrations with critical internal systems, including Nafath and Tawakkalna, while implementing robust authentication and authorization mechanisms to safeguard sensitive data.
• Optimize Database Performance: Leverage expertise in SQL Server and Entity Framework Core to design and optimize databases, ensuring high query performance and efficient data management.
• Streamline CI/CD and Deployment: Manage and enhance CI/CD pipelines and Azure deployments, ensuring rapid, reliable, and automated delivery of backend services.
• Maintain Technical Documentation: Document architectural decisions, system designs, and best practices to ensure knowledge retention and facilitate onboarding for future team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you must possess:

• Proven expertise in .NET Core and ASP.NET Core Web API development, with a strong focus on building scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Deep proficiency in C#, SQL Server, and Entity Framework Core for efficient data modeling and query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Docker, and Kubernetes for containerization, orchestration, and deployment management.
• Extensive knowledge of REST APIs and microservices architecture, with experience leveraging Redis for caching and performance enhancement.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align technical decisions with business objectives and drive cross-functional collaboration.
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in backend development, with a track record of leading technical initiatives in high-growth environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in Azure technologies, demonstrating advanced cloud expertise.
• Experience with SignalR for real-time communication solutions.
