As a Senior Civil Engineer / Transportation Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and refining transportation infrastructure that enhances mobility, safety, and economic growth. Your work will directly impact major civil projects, ensuring that every design solution is technically robust, compliant with local standards, and aligned with client objectives. Whether leading roadway design, corridor planning, or complex interchange systems, your expertise will drive the delivery of high-impact, sustainable infrastructure that stands the test of time.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

• Leading transportation design for critical infrastructure projects, including highways, corridors, interchanges, bridges, and drainage systems, ensuring designs meet functional, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and refine engineering solutions that integrate seamlessly with structural, geotechnical, and utility disciplines.
• Overseeing design deliverables, including drawings, specifications, and calculations, to uphold the highest standards of accuracy, compliance, and technical rigor.
• Supporting project execution from initial concept through final submission, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining alignment with client expectations and project milestones.
• Ensuring adherence to Saudi engineering standards, international best practices, and traffic, safety, and sustainability protocols.
• Mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

What We’re Looking For

To excel in this position, you must possess:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s in Transportation Engineering is a strong preference).
• At least 10 years of hands-on experience in transportation and highway engineering, with a proven track record in major infrastructure projects.
• Specialized expertise in:
• Highway and corridor design
• Traffic engineering and modeling
• Drainage, hydrology, and flood management
• Structural and geotechnical assessments
• Road safety and accessibility standards
• Utility coordination and conflict resolution
• Proficient command of industry-leading software, including Civil 3D, OpenRoads, AutoCAD, MicroStation, HEC-RAS, and HEC-HMS.
• Experience in PMC, consultancy, or client-facing environments, with a demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
• A results-driven mindset, with a commitment to precision, innovation, and sustainable engineering solutions.
