Key Responsibilities

As a Food Runner, your responsibilities will include:

• Precision and Coordination: Carefully review kitchen tickets to ensure accuracy and communicate seamlessly between kitchen and front-of-house teams to maintain a smooth service flow.
• Elevated Service Delivery: Transport food items from the kitchen to guest tables with speed, accuracy, and an unwavering commitment to presentation standards. Navigate the dining area with professionalism while carrying trays and tray jacks weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Attention to Detail: Execute daily side work tasks with meticulous organization and excellence, ensuring every aspect of the restaurant operates at peak efficiency.
• Guest Engagement: Interact naturally and respectfully with guests, embodying our brand’s commitment to friendly, professional, and attentive service at all times.
• Resilience Under Pressure: Remain composed, courteous, and focused during peak service periods, prioritizing guest satisfaction above all else.
• Compliance and Safety: Maintain rigorous adherence to food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring full compliance with all health regulations.
• Multitasking Excellence: Manage multiple orders and priorities simultaneously in a high-volume environment, demonstrating exceptional time management and adaptability.
• Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work closely with team members to address service issues, accommodate special guest requests, and support overall restaurant operations.

Qualifications and Skills

To thrive in this role, you will bring:

• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant service, where you’ve honed your ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Communication and Organization: Outstanding communication skills paired with a keen eye for detail to ensure flawless execution of tasks.
• Interpersonal Excellence: Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Adaptability: The ability to work efficiently under pressure, thrive in fast-paced settings, and manage multiple responsibilities with ease.
• Physical Capability: The strength and stamina to carry and lift up to 25 pounds regularly, as well as the endurance to stand for extended periods and move quickly throughout the restaurant.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems is a plus, though not mandatory.
• Work Ethic: A highly responsible, reliable, and punctual attitude, coupled with a strong work ethic and the flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Cultural Fit: A passion for hospitality, a commitment to delivering outstanding service, and the ability to remain calm, courteous, and focused in high-stress environments.
