We are now seeking a highly skilled and experienced Roads Engineer to join our Riyadh office, where you will play a pivotal role in delivering world-class infrastructure solutions that shape the future of transportation networks.

Your Impact

As a Roads Engineer at ARX, you will be at the forefront of designing and overseeing the development of critical road and highway infrastructure projects. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing connectivity, safety, and efficiency in some of the most ambitious and innovative developments in the region. Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and Planning: Lead the design and planning of roads and highways, ensuring alignment with project objectives, regulatory standards, and best practices in geometric, traffic, grading, and pavement design.
• Technical Excellence: Perform and review comprehensive engineering analyses, including road geometry, horizontal and vertical alignment, intersections, junctions, and pavement design, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
• Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with project managers, cross-functional engineering teams, and other disciplines to integrate road systems seamlessly into broader infrastructure projects, managing interfaces with other elements such as rail, utilities, and urban developments.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with government authorities, clients, and stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are met, fostering strong relationships that drive project success.
• Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance to junior engineers and team members, mentoring them to uphold the highest standards of engineering excellence.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed engineering reports, plans, and documentation, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and adherence to project specifications.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you will bring:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, complemented by a minimum of 4 years of experience in infrastructure projects with a focus on roads and highways.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, demonstrating your ability to navigate local regulations, standards, and project dynamics.
• Deep expertise in road and highway systems, including proficiency in geometric design, traffic engineering, grading, intersections, junctions, and pavement design.
• Thorough knowledge of KSA-specific codes, standards, and authority requirements, ensuring your designs align with local regulations.
• Technical proficiency in industry-leading software such as Civil 3D and Autodesk Vehicle Tracking, enabling you to deliver precise and innovative solutions.
• Fluency in English is essential, with additional proficiency in Arabic being a significant advantage.
