As a Senior Roads Engineer at ARX, you will play a pivotal role in designing, planning, and overseeing the execution of high-impact roads and highway projects. Your expertise will drive the development of efficient, sustainable, and compliant road networks that enhance connectivity, safety, and economic growth. Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Design Leadership: Lead the design and development of roads and highways, ensuring alignment with geometric, traffic, grading, intersection, junction, and pavement design principles.
• Technical Excellence: Perform and review intricate engineering analyses, including road geometry, horizontal/vertical alignment, and pavement design, while ensuring full compliance with local KSA regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to integrate road systems seamlessly into broader infrastructure projects, optimizing corridors, crossings, and interfaces.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed engineering reports, plans, and technical documentation to support project execution and stakeholder communication.
• Mentorship and Guidance: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with government authorities, clients, and external stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met with precision and clarity.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you must possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, complemented by a robust professional background.
• 8+ years of experience in infrastructure projects, with a specialized focus on roads and highways—proven expertise in design, construction, and project delivery.
• 3+ years of direct experience in the KSA, demonstrating a deep understanding of local regulations, standards, and market dynamics.
• Proficient knowledge of road and highway systems, including advanced design and construction methodologies, as well as relevant KSA codes and authority requirements.
• Technical Proficiency: Mastery of industry-leading software such as Civil 3D and Autodesk Vehicle Tracking, with the ability to leverage digital tools for precision and efficiency.
• Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic is a significant advantage.
