As an Application Developer, your responsibilities will span the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and system design to implementation, testing, and continuous improvement. You will work closely with the Business Analysis Team to ensure that technical specifications align perfectly with organizational goals, while also providing second-level technical support to end-users. Your contributions will directly support internal operations, including human resources, finance, procurement, warehouses, and document management systems, ensuring these platforms remain robust, scalable, and user-friendly.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Development and Maintenance: Actively participate in the development, enhancement, and periodic updates of our Government Resources System, as well as supporting applications such as HR management, finance, procurement, and warehouse systems. Drive automation initiatives to optimize workflows and reduce manual intervention.
• Collaborative Requirements Analysis: Work hand-in-hand with the Business Analysis Team to translate business requirements into precise technical specifications. Ensure that all customization and modification requests for the Government Resources System are accurately captured and implemented.
• Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide second-level technical support to end-users, resolving system-related issues and addressing inquiries with efficiency. Identify recurring problems and propose actionable improvements to enhance user experience and system reliability.
• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Develop comprehensive user guides and technical documentation to ensure smooth adoption and effective use of the systems. Contribute to maintaining up-to-date records of system functionalities, best practices, and troubleshooting steps.
• System Design and Architecture: Design data structures and graphical interfaces for supporting applications, ensuring intuitive usability and alignment with organizational workflows. Collaborate with system owners to prioritize development activities and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Project Planning and Execution: Prepare and implement technical plans for development projects, tracking progress and milestones to ensure on-time delivery. Review business requirements documents to validate feasibility and feasibility of technical implementations.
• Change Management and Testing: Implement change requests and corrective actions based on user acceptance testing feedback. Ensure that all modifications adhere to cybersecurity policies and organizational standards.
• Technical Assistance and Compliance: Offer technical guidance to employees regarding the Unified Government Resources System and other internal applications. Adhere strictly to the organization’s work controls, cybersecurity protocols, and ethical conduct guidelines.
• Innovation and Adaptability: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to suggest enhancements that align with the organization’s strategic objectives. Remain open to additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership to support evolving business needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 2 Years of Experience: Proven experience in application development, system maintenance, or a related field. Familiarity with government or enterprise resource systems is a significant advantage.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related discipline. Certifications in relevant technologies are a plus.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or similar, along with experience in database management (e.g., SQL, Oracle), web development frameworks, and system integration tools.
