As the Director of Rooms, you will play a critical role in shaping the guest experience by leading a high-performing team of housekeeping and room service professionals. Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement long-term strategies to optimize room operations, ensuring alignment with voco™’s brand values and industry best practices. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance room quality, guest feedback scores, and operational efficiency.
• Team Development: Lead, mentor, and empower a diverse team of housekeeping and room service staff to deliver outstanding performance. Foster a culture of professionalism, accountability, and guest-focused service excellence.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee daily room inspections, maintenance, and turnovers to guarantee that every guest room meets or exceeds voco™’s rigorous standards. Collaborate with departments such as Engineering, Sales, and F&B to ensure seamless cross-functional coordination.
• Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality control protocols to maintain consistency in room presentation, cleanliness, and amenities. Monitor guest feedback and industry trends to identify opportunities for enhancement.
• Sustainability and Innovation: Champion sustainability initiatives within room operations, such as energy-efficient practices, waste reduction, and eco-friendly product sourcing. Explore innovative technologies and methodologies to elevate guest experiences while minimizing environmental impact.
• Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage budgets for room operations, including staffing, supplies, and maintenance. Optimize resource allocation to ensure cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a key liaison between room operations and senior management, providing regular reports and insights to drive data-informed decision-making. Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and industry experts to stay ahead of trends.
