We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and execute high-impact Professional Services projects, ensuring seamless delivery from inception to completion. In this pivotal role, you will act as a strategic bridge between Rackspace and our clients, driving value through meticulous planning, stakeholder alignment, and operational excellence. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping complex technical projects, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring timely, budget-conscious delivery—all while fostering long-term client relationships and business growth.

This full-time, on-site position in Riyadh is open to Saudi nationals only, in accordance with applicable Saudization requirements. All qualified candidates will be considered without discrimination on any other protected basis.

Key Responsibilities

As the Senior Project Manager, your role will encompass a broad spectrum of strategic and operational duties designed to elevate project success and client satisfaction:

• Strategic Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with Rackspace and client stakeholders to identify, document, and prioritize requirements that directly address business challenges and drive measurable outcomes. Act as the primary liaison between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring seamless communication and alignment across all project facets.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Build and nurture a robust network of cross-functional resources—both within Rackspace and across strategic partnerships—to enhance productivity, resolve escalations swiftly, and identify new business opportunities.
• Methodology Innovation: Contribute to the continuous refinement of Rackspace’s Professional Services methodology, ensuring best practices are adopted and scaled across all engagements.
• Fanatical Support Advocacy: Champion Rackspace’s Fanatical Experience™ by articulating the unique value proposition to both prospective and existing clients, as well as internal sales teams, fostering trust and long-term partnerships.
• End-to-End Project Oversight: Lead the scope, planning, monitoring, and execution of complex technical projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including Project Initiation Documents (PID), plans, logs, and progress reports.
• Risk and Change Management: Proactively identify and mitigate project risks while implementing rigorous change control processes. Assess project variances, evaluate impacts, and ensure timely adjustments to maintain project integrity.
• Third-Party Coordination: Oversee the delivery of third-party deliverables—both internal and external—to Rackspace, tracking progress through consistent communication and collaboration with all stakeholders.
• Reporting and Transparency: Prepare and present clear, actionable reports on project progress, challenges, and solutions to both Rackspace leadership and client stakeholders.
• Proposal and RFP Development: Assist in crafting compelling proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and Statements of Work (SoW), ensuring scope, timelines, deliverables, resources, risks, assumptions, and dependencies are meticulously analyzed and articulated.
• Presales and Delivery Collaboration: Engage regularly with Sales pursuit teams, Program & Project Managers, Technical Consultants, Solutions Architects, Partners, and extended cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, mitigate risks, and drive timely project execution.

This role demands a blend of strategic vision, technical acumen, and operational rigor—making it ideal for seasoned professionals who thrive in dynamic, high-impact environments.

Required Experience

To excel in this position, you must possess:

• A PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification, demonstrating your expertise in project management frameworks.
• Proven ability to lead, organize, and execute projects with consistency, reliability, and repeatable success—delivering measurable outcomes under tight deadlines and within budget constraints.
• Technical conversational knowledge in key areas such as Public Cloud environments, Data Center strategy and operations, capacity planning, and resource utilization—enabling you to bridge the gap between business objectives and technical execution.
