As the **Lead Civil Engineer**, you will take ownership of the civil and structural engineering aspects of our Airport Infrastructure Programme, ensuring that every element—from terminals and runways to bridges and utilities—exemplifies safety, efficiency, and cutting-edge performance. Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a broad spectrum of leadership and technical responsibilities, including:

• Strategic Civil and Structural Design Leadership: Oversee the entire spectrum of civil and structural engineering design for airport infrastructure, ensuring that every component—whether temporary or permanent—meets the highest standards of safety, functionality, and cost-effectiveness. Lead the development of detailed drawings, specifications, and calculations while ensuring seamless integration with multidisciplinary teams, including MEP, transportation, and architectural disciplines.
• Technical Excellence and Mentorship: Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and adherence to industry best practices. Your leadership will ensure that design solutions are not only technically sound but also innovative and aligned with project objectives.
• Ensuring Structural Integrity and Safety: Act as the primary advocate for structural safety, conducting rigorous risk assessments and analyses to address critical factors such as load-bearing capacity, seismic resilience, durability, and environmental conditions. Your oversight will guarantee that airport facilities—including terminals, airside infrastructure, and supporting systems—are built to withstand operational demands and external challenges.
• Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Bridge gaps between engineering disciplines by leading collaborative design meetings and ensuring that civil and structural components align seamlessly with electrical, mechanical, environmental, and architectural requirements. Your ability to facilitate cohesive project integration will be instrumental in delivering cohesive, high-performance infrastructure solutions.
• Project Management and Technical Oversight: Develop and execute project schedules, budgets, and quality control measures to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of civil and structural engineering deliverables. Monitor progress closely, proactively addressing challenges, and managing external consultants and contractors to uphold rigorous technical and quality standards.
• Compliance and Regulatory Excellence: Ensure full compliance with local, national, and international codes, standards, and regulations, including building codes, safety protocols, and environmental guidelines. Act as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities to secure necessary permits and approvals while embedding sustainability principles into every design phase.
