Key Responsibilities & Requirements

As an Instructor Pilot (Primary), your role will demand a blend of technical proficiency and exceptional mentorship. You will be responsible for:

• Delivering high-standard flight instruction aligned with RSAF training protocols, ensuring cadets develop the skills, confidence, and discipline required for modern military aviation.
• Mentoring and guiding Saudi cadets both in the cockpit and during ground briefings, fostering a culture of excellence and professionalism.
• Collaborating closely with the Head of Flying (KFAA) to maintain operational standards and contribute to the overall success of the training program.

To excel in this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Proven expertise as a Flying Instructor with a minimum of 1,500 total flying hours, including 800 hours on fixed-wing aircraft. A minimum of 400 hours of Primary flying instructional experience is required.
• Military or equivalent instructor qualification, such as an RAF A2 instructor rating (or documented equivalent) for Primary/Basic instruction. Non-military candidates must provide verification from a recognized military establishment demonstrating equivalent competency.
• Age limit of 55 years at the time of contract commencement.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire, influence, and direct cadets effectively in high-pressure environments.
• Strong people development competencies, enabling you to nurture talent and instill a culture of continuous improvement.
