Finance Manager – Strategic Leadership for a Cutting-Edge AI and Technology Business

We are seeking a seasoned Finance Manager to drive excellence in financial governance, reporting, and compliance for our Saudi operations. As the Finance Manager, you will oversee all aspects of local accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance while ensuring seamless alignment with global finance standards. This hands-on position requires a blend of technical expertise, sharp business acumen, and the ability to independently resolve complex accounting and reporting challenges with precision and confidence.

Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, your responsibilities will include:

• Financial Accounting & Reporting: Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial statements in accordance with IFRS and Saudi regulatory requirements. Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany balances, consolidation schedules, and significant journal entries, while providing clear and actionable insights on accounting treatments.
• External Audit Coordination: Serve as the primary finance liaison for external auditors, managing audit planning, PBC coordination, documentation, and issue resolution. Maintain audit trackers, ensure timely closure of findings, and collaborate closely with Group Finance and other stakeholders to address critical accounting matters.
• Tax & Regulatory Compliance: Coordinate Saudi tax and regulatory matters in partnership with Group Tax and external advisors, ensuring adherence to VAT, WHT, Zakat, and corporate income tax requirements. Stay ahead of regulatory changes, assess their impact on the business, and ensure all financial and tax documentation remains audit-ready and compliant with deadlines.
• Controls & Finance Governance: Strengthen internal financial controls in line with Group policies and Saudi regulations, identifying gaps and driving remediation efforts. Ensure proper segregation of duties, approval controls, reconciliations, and supporting documentation to enhance financial integrity and governance.
• Finance Systems & Process Improvement: Collaborate with Group Finance, Shared Service Centers (SSC), and IT teams to enhance finance system localization, implementation, and process automation. Drive improvements in close processes, reporting accuracy, controls, and management information to optimize operational efficiency.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a finance professional with:

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, audit, controllership, or corporate finance, with a strong preference for candidates who have transitioned from Big 4 or professional services to in-house corporate finance roles.
• Proven expertise in IFRS, financial reporting, financial controls, and audit processes, with a deep understanding of Saudi-specific requirements, including VAT, WHT, Zakat, and corporate tax compliance.
• Hands-on experience in month-end/year-end close, reconciliations, consolidation, and statutory reporting, along with a track record of working effectively with external auditors.
• A SOCPA membership or relevant Saudi professional qualification is highly preferred.
• Experience in technology, AI, fintech, telecom, or other high-growth industries is advantageous, though candidates from complex industries will also be considered.
• Proficient in SAP, Oracle, or other major ERP systems, with a focus on process improvement and automation.
