We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Parking Engineer – City Operations & Maintenance (Saudi National) to lead the technical and operational management of a cutting-edge, city-wide smart parking ecosystem. This role will be instrumental in driving the seamless integration of advanced parking technologies, mobility solutions, and data-driven strategies to enhance urban mobility, efficiency, and user experience within a transformative giga-project.

As a key member of our operations team, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing parking infrastructure, ensuring operational reliability, and delivering exceptional service across multiple facilities. Your expertise will be critical in supporting the seamless flow of vehicles, managing high-capacity parking systems, and implementing smart solutions that align with the latest advancements in urban mobility.

Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, your responsibilities will include:

• Technical and Operational Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day management of city-wide parking facilities, intelligent parking systems, and associated mobility infrastructure to ensure peak performance, reliability, and user satisfaction.
• Smart Parking Systems: Operate, monitor, and optimize automated Parking Guidance Systems (PGS), intelligent parking applications, and digital platforms to enhance real-time parking management and user navigation.
• Advanced Technology Integration: Coordinate the seamless integration of parking systems with central City Operations platforms, traffic management systems, mobility applications, and digital infrastructure to create a cohesive urban mobility ecosystem.
• EV Infrastructure Management: Support the operation and optimization of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, ensuring accessibility and efficiency across all parking facilities.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze real-time operational data, including parking occupancy, vehicle movements, dwell times, and traffic patterns, to identify congestion, capacity constraints, and opportunities for optimization.
• Strategic Traffic and Mobility Planning: Develop and implement traffic circulation, ingress, egress, queuing, and parking management strategies to maintain safe, efficient, and user-friendly vehicle movements, particularly during peak periods and special events.
• Multi-Modal Mobility Coordination: Monitor and coordinate interactions between parking facilities, pedestrian routes, public transport, shuttle services, ride-hailing, taxis, and other mobility services to enhance connectivity and accessibility.
• Maintenance and Asset Management: Lead preventive and corrective maintenance activities for parking systems, automated equipment, car lifts, barriers, payment systems, and mechanical infrastructure to ensure operational continuity and safety.
• Technical and Structural Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of parking structures, surface lots, and supporting assets to assess technical, structural, functional, and operational integrity, identifying defects and coordinating corrective actions.
• Civil Maintenance Oversight: Monitor civil maintenance requirements, including pavement conditions, road markings, signage, safety barriers, and pedestrian routes, to uphold safety and functionality standards.
• Asset Lifecycle Planning: Support asset lifecycle planning by evaluating condition, performance, reliability, maintenance history, and replacement requirements to ensure long-term sustainability and cost-effectiveness.
• Vendor and Contractor Management: Monitor contractor and vendor performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), maintenance requirements, and response times to guarantee adherence to operational standards.
• Collaborative Partnerships: Work closely with Facilities Management, Asset Management, ICT, Traffic Management, Security, and external vendors to maintain high availability and performance of parking assets.
