Key Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse at My Clinic, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, patient-focused care across a diverse range of specialties. Your responsibilities will include:

• Comprehensive Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs, documenting findings and prioritizing care based on evidence-based practices and patient preferences.
• Individualized Care Planning: Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop and implement tailored care plans that align with cultural considerations and best practices.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, therapists, social workers, and case managers to ensure seamless coordination of care, facilitate discharge planning, and enhance patient transitions.
• Medication and Treatment Management: Administer medications, intravenous therapies, and treatments with precision, adhering to strict protocols for dosage calculations, safety precautions, and monitoring for adverse reactions.
• Clinical Procedures and Interventions: Perform essential nursing procedures such as wound care, catheterization, tracheostomy care, and specimen collection, while maintaining the highest standards of aseptic techniques and infection control.
• Patient Education and Advocacy: Empower patients and families through clear, concise education on medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies, fostering informed decision-making and adherence.
• Preventive Healthcare Promotion: Guide patients toward healthier lifestyles by providing insights into preventive measures, community resources, and wellness strategies.
• Accurate Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of patient assessments, interventions, and responses in electronic health records (EHR) or paper charts, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Continuous Learning and Development: Actively participate in educational activities, mentor new nursing staff, and contribute to ongoing professional growth within the organization.
• Quality Improvement and Accreditation: Engage in committees and initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care, work environment, and adherence to national and international accreditation standards.
• Safety and Compliance: Uphold the highest safety standards for patients, families, and staff by ensuring proper handling of equipment, medications, and emergency protocols, while strictly following infection control guidelines.
• Flexible and Adaptable Care: Demonstrate flexibility in working across various shifts and clinical areas to meet the evolving needs of My Clinic’s diverse patient population.
• Reporting and Administrative Duties: Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required, contributing to data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency.
