As a key contributor, you will lead on-site field activities with precision and authority, providing hands-on technical leadership to optimize system performance and reliability. Your responsibilities will span a diverse range of applications, including Voltage Source Inverters (VSI), Load Commutated Inverters (LCI), and advanced motor control solutions for pumps, compressors, turbines, and other rotating equipment. Your expertise will be instrumental in resolving complex technical challenges, ensuring minimal downtime, and enhancing asset performance for industries such as power generation, oil & gas, utilities, and industrial manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

In this strategic role, your contributions will be critical to:

• Technical Execution: Lead the installation, commissioning, startup, maintenance, and upgrade of MV Soft Starters and Variable Speed Drive (VSD) systems, ensuring adherence to industry standards and customer specifications.
• Emergency Response: Provide rapid, high-impact technical support for urgent field service interventions, minimizing operational disruptions and ensuring system reliability.
• Technical Training and Guidance: Deliver comprehensive training to customer personnel on system operation, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting, empowering them to optimize asset performance.
• Problem-Solving: Diagnose and resolve complex electrical and control system issues with innovative solutions, leveraging your expertise in VSI, LCI, and industrial motor control technologies.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate on-site teams, contractors, and technicians, ensuring seamless project execution while maintaining alignment with company and customer Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed technical reports, service records, and maintenance documentation to support continuous improvement initiatives and asset performance optimization.
• Project Coordination: Manage material requirements, quotations, and field execution planning, ensuring efficient resource allocation and project timelines.
• Safety and Compliance: Uphold the highest standards of safety and operational excellence, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you will bring:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, complemented by a robust technical foundation.
• 7+ years of hands-on field service experience in industrial electrical systems, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality technical solutions.
• Specialized expertise in Medium Voltage Variable Speed Drives (VSDs) and Soft Starters, including Voltage Source Inverters (VSI) and Load Commutated Inverters (LCI).
• Extensive experience in commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial motor control systems for applications such as pumps, compressors, turbines, and heavy industrial processes.
• Preferred: Experience managing field projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams, with a strong understanding of electrical power systems, control systems, and rotating equipment applications.
