Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive internal audit plan that aligns with organizational goals, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Lead the audit function with a forward-thinking approach, ensuring alignment with business priorities and stakeholder expectations.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across all business units, leveraging audit findings to strengthen controls and processes. Collaborate with senior management to embed risk awareness into the organization’s culture.
• Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory frameworks, and industry standards. Conduct thorough compliance audits and recommend enhancements to governance structures.
• Team Development: Build and mentor a high-caliber audit team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment. Provide mentorship, training, and professional development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with executive leadership, board members, and operational teams to communicate audit findings, recommendations, and progress. Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on risk and control matters.
• Process Optimization: Drive operational efficiency by identifying inefficiencies, recommending process improvements, and ensuring audit activities add value to the business.
• Regulatory and Ethical Compliance: Stay abreast of evolving regulatory requirements and ethical standards, ensuring the organization remains compliant and resilient in dynamic business environments.

Qualifications and Skills:

The successful candidate will possess:

• A proven track record of leading internal audit functions in a corporate or consulting environment, with a strong focus on strategic risk management and compliance.
• Certification as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or equivalent professional designation is highly preferred.
• Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and overseeing internal audit programs that deliver measurable value to the organization.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable insights.
