We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Planning Engineer to play a pivotal role in our Jeddah-based operations. In this full-time, on-site position, you will be instrumental in shaping the success of our construction projects by developing and maintaining robust project schedules, coordinating production planning, and ensuring seamless alignment with project objectives and regulatory frameworks. Key Responsibilities

As the Planning Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and Optimizing Project Schedules: Create, update, and refine detailed project schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of construction projects. Leverage advanced planning methodologies to identify critical paths, allocate resources efficiently, and mitigate potential delays.
• Analyzing Project Data: Interpret complex project data to identify trends, performance metrics, and areas for improvement. Provide actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making and risk mitigation strategies.
• Collaborating Across Teams: Work closely with project managers, site teams, consultants, and stakeholders to align planning efforts with project goals. Facilitate cross-functional communication to ensure cohesive execution and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Monitoring and Reporting: Prepare comprehensive progress reports, track performance against baselines, and implement corrective actions to maintain project momentum. Utilize project control tools to ensure accountability and transparency.
• Driving Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the evolution of planning methodologies, tools, and reporting standards within HL Group. Propose innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and operational excellence in project delivery.
• On-Site Execution: Operate in a fast-paced, on-site environment in Jeddah, managing multiple priorities with precision. Demonstrate adaptability and attention to detail to navigate challenges and deliver exceptional results.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you will bring:

• Advanced Planning and Production Planning Skills: Proven ability to create, update, and optimize project schedules and resource plans using industry-leading software such as Primavera or MS Project.
• Analytical Acumen: Strong analytical skills to dissect project data, uncover insights, and support strategic decision-making. Experience in identifying risks and opportunities to enhance project outcomes.
• Exceptional Communication: Clear and concise communication skills to liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams, present planning reports, and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Project Control Expertise: Hands-on experience in monitoring project progress, tracking performance metrics, and implementing corrective measures to ensure alignment with project baselines.
• Education and Technical Proficiency: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, with a focus on data analysis and visualization.
• Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and regulatory requirements in the building and property development sectors. Familiarity with local and state planning guidelines is a significant advantage.
• On-Site Readiness: Ability to work effectively in a dynamic on-site environment in Jeddah, managing competing priorities and maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism.
