• Infrastructure Operations & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve infrastructure and application issues with precision, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation for future reference.
• Monitoring & Incident Management: Collaborate with monitoring specialists to design, configure, and enhance observability tools, ensuring real-time visibility into system health and proactive incident resolution.
• Backup & Disaster Recovery: Develop and implement robust backup strategies and disaster recovery plans to safeguard critical data and ensure business continuity.
• Automated Deployments & IaC: Lead the design and maintenance of automated deployment pipelines and Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform, ensuring consistency, scalability, and operational efficiency across environments.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Foster seamless communication between engineering, operations, and development teams to align infrastructure standards, improve service reliability, and enhance monitoring of core applications.
• VMware Administration: Manage and optimize VMware-based virtualized environments, including evaluating new vendor solutions and refining existing infrastructure for performance and cost-efficiency.
• Technical Leadership: Contribute to the evolution of infrastructure standards, automation initiatives, and optimization projects, driving continuous improvement in operational workflows.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for a **DevOps Administrator** with:

• Deep System Administration Expertise: Proven experience in Red Hat and Oracle Linux environments, with a strong foundation in Linux-based systems and networking.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Hands-on experience with Docker and advanced knowledge of Kubernetes, including cluster management, scaling, and troubleshooting.
• CI/CD & Automation: Practical experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and automated software delivery processes, ensuring smooth and repeatable deployments.
• Configuration Management: Proficiency in Ansible for automating configuration, provisioning, and application deployment.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Strong familiarity with Terraform and other IaC tools to manage infrastructure programmatically, reducing manual errors and improving reproducibility.
• Version Control & Scripting: Advanced Git skills and experience developing automation solutions using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) or programming languages.
• Observability & Monitoring: Expertise in infrastructure monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) and a deep understanding of observability principles to ensure operational health.
• VMware Proficiency: Experience administering VMware environments, including virtual machine management, performance tuning, and integration with cloud or hybrid solutions.
