Key Responsibilities

In this influential role, you will:

• Lead Financial Reporting and Analysis: Develop, maintain, and analyze comprehensive monthly financial reports, ensuring clarity and precision in communicating actual results, forecasted performance, and variances against budgets and prior-year benchmarks.
• Drive Strategic Forecasting: Partner with the Pharmacy Finance team to analyze and forecast pharmacy volumes using market trends, business strategies, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to anticipate growth opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Influence Volume Growth: Collaborate with Operations and Sales leadership to design, recommend, and implement strategies that enhance volume growth, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize performance.
• Automate and Communicate Insights: Create automated, visually compelling reports and presentations that distill complex financial data into actionable insights for executive stakeholders.
• Present to Leadership: Deliver monthly financial results and volume growth strategies to Optum Infusion leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and driving data-informed decision-making.
• Leverage Industry Insights: Explore macroeconomic trends, competitive landscapes, and industry developments to inform long-term volume strategies and financial planning.
• Ensure Operational Alignment: Work closely with the Production Control team to monitor intra-month volume performance and script throughput, ensuring seamless execution of operational plans.

Required Qualifications

To excel in this position, you must possess:

• 5+ Years of Financial and Accounting Experience: A strong foundation in financial management, reporting, and analysis, with a proven track record of driving performance in dynamic environments.
• 5+ Years in High-Growth Environments: Experience anticipating financial and operational challenges, assessing their implications, and implementing effective solutions to support business growth.
• Advanced Excel Proficiency: Expertise in financial modeling, data visualization, pivot tables, advanced functions (XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH), and complex formula development to analyze and present data effectively.
• Intermediate PowerPoint Skills: Ability to design impactful presentations tailored for executive audiences, ensuring clarity and persuasiveness in financial storytelling.
• Experience Presenting to Leadership: Comfortable articulating financial insights to cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders, fostering collaboration and alignment.

Compensation for this role ranges from $91,700 to $163,700 annually, reflecting the value of your expertise and experience.
