In this influential role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to business leadership, Finance teams, and enterprise governance bodies, ensuring disciplined capital execution while delivering measurable financial outcomes. With the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. (or a minimum of four days on-site in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area), you’ll balance autonomy with collaboration in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Your work will span critical areas of capital finance, blending financial acumen with operational expertise:

• Capital Planning & Governance: Lead the development, prioritization, and execution of the capital plan while ensuring strict adherence to enterprise governance standards. Provide transparency into capital investments, benefits realization, and financial performance to drive data-driven decision-making.
• Financial Analysis & Decision Support: Build sophisticated financial models and analyses to evaluate capital initiatives, delivering actionable recommendations to leadership. Identify risks and opportunities in capital performance, advocating for solutions that enhance efficiency and ROI.
• Forecasting & Performance Management: Oversee capital forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in reporting. Continuously refine forecasting methodologies to improve capital efficiency and align with strategic objectives.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Act as a bridge between Finance, business units, and governance teams, influencing decisions through clear communication, financial insights, and strong business acumen. Collaborate to align capital priorities and performance expectations across the organization.
• Process & Reporting Optimization: Enhance capital reporting frameworks to improve transparency and operational insights. Identify opportunities to streamline processes, tools, and workflows, fostering a culture of continuous improvement in capital planning and tracking.

Required Qualifications

To excel in this position, you must meet the following criteria:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, accounting, or a related finance role, with a proven track record of managing complex financial processes.
• Deep understanding of accounting principles and financial systems, coupled with strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Exceptional communication skills to influence cross-functional stakeholders and articulate financial insights effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in capital planning, governance, or investment portfolio management.
