In this pivotal role, you will serve as the bridge between technology and business, leading the optimization of our customized SAP AFS environment while fostering strategic partnerships across supply chain, sourcing, inventory, operations, finance, retail, and e-commerce teams. This position offers a hybrid work model, with Monday through Thursday based in our Greensboro, NC office, and Fridays designated for remote work—though flexibility may adjust based on business needs. Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a broad spectrum of strategic and operational responsibilities, including:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a forward-thinking IT strategy for supply chain systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize initiatives, deliver cost-effective solutions, and provide thought leadership on emerging technologies within the apparel and fashion supply chain.
• SAP AFS Expertise: Oversee the management, configuration, customization, integration, and upgrades of our SAP AFS environment (SD/MM), ensuring optimal performance and scalability to support our evolving business needs.
• Project Management: Lead and deliver complex IT projects, including SAP implementations, upgrades, and enhancements, while adhering to methodologies such as SAP RICEF. Utilize robust project management frameworks to ensure timely, budget-conscious, and high-impact outcomes.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a high-performing team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Drive accountability and excellence in both technical execution and problem-solving.
• Business Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, translating their operational challenges into actionable IT solutions. Engage deeply with departments such as operations, inventory, finance, retail, e-commerce, and sourcing to drive process efficiency and innovation.
• Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve critical system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Provide timely technical support and guidance to end-users across the organization.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you will bring a blend of technical expertise, industry-specific knowledge, and leadership acumen:

• A minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
• 7 to 10 years of IT experience, with a strong emphasis on supply chain systems within the apparel and fashion industry. Experience with EDI is highly preferred.
• Proven expertise in SAP AFS (SD/MM), including implementation, configuration, customization, and ongoing support.
• A strong working knowledge of ABAP development is a significant advantage.
• Experience collaborating with onsite and offshore AMS providers for project delivery and support, ensuring seamless execution and scalability.
• Deep understanding of apparel and fashion business processes, including order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and supply chain logistics, to drive informed decision-making and process optimization.
