As an IT Security Operations Engineer, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our clients’ digital infrastructure while contributing to cutting-edge security operations.

In this dynamic role, you will oversee and enhance our Security Operations Center (SOC) and IT security frameworks, ensuring seamless protection against evolving cyber threats. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of security, reliability, and operational resilience across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

You will lead the implementation, management, and optimization of advanced security solutions, including:

• Enterprise Security Infrastructure: Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot critical security technologies such as Check Point, Palo Alto, FortiGate, Proxy, VPN, F5 Load Balancer, IPS, IDS, SIEM, AV, EDR, NDR, and XDR to fortify our digital defenses.
• Threat Detection and Mitigation: Proactively identify, investigate, and resolve security vulnerabilities, configuration gaps, and potential breaches to ensure robust protection.
• High-Availability Security: Monitor and maintain 99.9% service availability for security systems, ensuring uninterrupted operations and minimal downtime.
• Infrastructure and Technology Support: Assist in security infrastructure upgrades, technology rollouts, and digital transformation initiatives to align with evolving business needs.
• Documentation and Compliance: Develop and maintain network/infrastructure diagrams, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintenance plans, health reports, and status reports to ensure transparency and compliance.
• Backup and Recovery: Oversee backup and disaster recovery activities to safeguard critical data and ensure business continuity.
• Data Center Operations: Conduct hardware diagnostics, cabling, mounting, and replacements while performing routine device checks to maintain optimal performance.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with infrastructure and security teams to align security strategies, resolve issues, and maintain a secure, high-performance environment.

Technical Expertise

To excel in this role, you will leverage your proficiency in:

• Firewall Solutions: Palo Alto, FortiGate, and Check Point – Configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Endpoint and Network Security: AV, EDR, NDR, and XDR – Advanced threat detection and response.
• Security Event Management: SIEM and Security Event Log Management – Centralized monitoring and incident analysis.
• Proxy and Authentication: Proxy Solutions, RADIUS, and TACACS+ – Secure access control and user authentication.
• VPN and Load Balancing: Site-to-Site and Remote Access VPN, F5 Load Balancer (LTM & GTM) – Secure connectivity and traffic distribution.
• Intrusion Prevention and Protection: IPS, IDS, and DDoS Protection – Real-time threat mitigation.
• Network Protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and NetFlow – Deep understanding of network fundamentals and traffic analysis.
• Encryption Standards: TLS 1.2 and TLS 1.3 – Secure communication protocols.

Qualifications and Requirements

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional with:

• Academic Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in IT security principles.
• Professional Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in IT Security, Information Security, or Security Operations, with a focus on managing and troubleshooting enterprise security solutions.
• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in network security, security monitoring, and incident response, with the ability to navigate complex SOC environments.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Certifications

• CCNA – Foundational networking knowledge.
