Join our dynamic team as a **Linux OS System Administrator** and play a pivotal role in maintaining the seamless operation of our enterprise-grade RHEL server infrastructure. This critical position demands expertise in high-availability environments, SAP integrations, and proactive system management to ensure 24/7 reliability. As a key contributor, you will oversee the installation, configuration, and optimization of RHEL servers and clusters, including Pacemaker-based high-availability solutions, while delivering end-to-end support for mission-critical applications.

In this full-time remote role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance, enforce cybersecurity best practices, and align operations with regulatory compliance standards. Your technical leadership will be instrumental in driving operational excellence, ensuring data integrity, and fostering innovation in our Linux-based infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a broad spectrum of technical and operational duties, including:

• Enterprise Server Management: Install, configure, and maintain RHEL servers (versions 7, 8, and 9) and clusters, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and high availability. Leverage Pacemaker for cluster management and SAP workloads, including SAP HANA and SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Proactive System Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Continuously monitor system logs, performance metrics, and resource utilization to identify and resolve issues before they impact operations. Implement robust monitoring solutions like SCOM and AppDynamics to track server health and application performance.
• Security & Compliance: Enforce stringent security protocols, including firewall configurations, user permissions, and file integrity measures. Ensure compliance with cybersecurity regulations such as NCA, NIC, and SEC standards while maintaining alignment with Red Hat’s best practices.
• Application & Infrastructure Support: Assist in deploying and managing applications hosted on Linux servers, collaborating closely with development, ERP, database, and web hosting teams to streamline integrations and maintenance activities.
• Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of RHEL systems, from version upgrades to decommissioning, while managing vendor support tickets for Red Hat with efficiency and expertise.
• Documentation & Process Improvement: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Contribute to process enhancements that improve deployment workflows and system reliability.
• User & Policy Administration: Manage user accounts, group permissions, and associated policies to ensure secure and efficient access controls across the enterprise environment.
• 24/7 Operational Support: Provide round-the-clock support for critical systems, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid resolution of incidents. Work in a shift-based environment to maintain continuous availability of mission-critical infrastructure.
