As a Microsoft Cloud & Infrastructure Manager within our dynamic IT Operations & Infrastructure team, you will play a pivotal role in steering Albawani’s digital transformation by designing, implementing, and optimizing a robust, secure, and scalable Microsoft cloud ecosystem. This strategic position demands expertise in Azure, Microsoft 365, and hybrid infrastructure to empower our global operations—from our Riyadh headquarters to remote construction sites across the Kingdom.

In this influential role, you will lead the charge in modernizing Albawani’s technology infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration between cloud and on-premises systems while driving operational efficiency, security, and cost optimization. Your strategic vision will align cloud solutions with business objectives, fostering collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and resilience across our diverse portfolio of projects.

Key Responsibilities

Your expertise will be instrumental across multiple critical domains:

• Azure & Cloud Infrastructure Leadership
  - Architect and oversee Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, networking, storage, and security, ensuring alignment with Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) best practices.
  - Design and deploy Azure Landing Zones to establish a scalable, secure, and governance-ready cloud foundation.
  - Manage hybrid connectivity solutions, such as ExpressRoute and Site-to-Site VPN, to bridge Azure and on-premises environments seamlessly.
  - Implement and enforce Azure governance frameworks, including Management Groups, Subscriptions, Resource Groups, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to maintain operational control and compliance.
  - Lead disaster recovery initiatives with Azure Backup and Site Recovery, ensuring business continuity for mission-critical operations.
  - Monitor and optimize Azure resource utilization, applying FinOps principles to enhance cost efficiency and performance.
• Microsoft 365 Administration & Security
  - Serve as the primary administrator for Microsoft 365, overseeing Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive to support Albawani’s collaborative workflows.
  - Manage Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including user lifecycle management, group policies, conditional access, and multi-factor authentication (MFA) to fortify identity and access security.
  - Deploy and maintain Microsoft Intune for comprehensive endpoint management across Windows, iOS, and Android devices, ensuring compliance and security.
  - Configure and administer Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Office 365, and Cloud Apps security solutions to protect against evolving cyber threats.
  - Manage Microsoft Teams voice services, including calling plans, auto-attendants, and call queues, to enhance communication across distributed teams.
  - Optimize Microsoft 365 licensing and ensure compliance through advanced license management tools.
• Security & Compliance Excellence
  - Implement Azure Security Center and Microsoft Defender for Cloud to proactively address security recommendations and vulnerabilities.
  - Design and enforce Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and Microsoft Purview solutions to safeguard sensitive information and govern data sensitivity labels.
  - Ensure adherence to NCA Essential Cybersecurity Controls and PDPL (Personal Data Protection Law) requirements, mitigating compliance risks.
  - Manage privileged access using Azure Privileged Identity Management (PIM) and Just-In-Time access to enhance security posture.
• Infrastructure Operations & Resilience
  - Oversee Windows Server infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy, to maintain stable and secure on-premises environments.
  - Manage virtualization platforms (Hyper-V, VMware) and physical server infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
  - Collaborate with network teams to integrate SD-WAN solutions for reliable connectivity at construction sites.
  - Implement and monitor advanced solutions using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights to gain real-time insights into system health and performance.
  - Lead infrastructure patching, updates, and hardening initiatives to align with security baselines and industry standards.
• Team Leadership & Strategic Governance
  - Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of cloud engineers and infrastructure specialists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
  - Establish and maintain comprehensive operational runbooks, documentation, and knowledge base articles to ensure knowledge transfer and best practices.
  - Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to availability, performance, security posture, and cost efficiency, driving data-driven decision-making.
  - Manage vendor relationships with Microsoft, cloud partners, and managed service providers to ensure alignment with Albawani’s strategic goals.
  - Participate in IT governance forums, Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings, and strategic planning initiatives to shape Albawani’s technological roadmap.
  - Develop and manage the annual cloud infrastructure budget, including forecasting and capacity planning, to support scalable growth.
