As a **Life Guard**, you will be responsible for overseeing pool and beach areas with unwavering vigilance, ensuring the well-being of guests while upholding the resort’s reputation for safety and professionalism. Your role extends beyond rescue operations—you will also contribute to the seamless operation of our facilities, fostering a welcoming and secure environment for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safety and Rescue Operations: Utilize advanced lifeguarding techniques to respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, ensuring the prompt assistance of swimmers in distress. Continuously monitor designated areas for hazardous conditions, unusual activities, or signs of difficulty among guests.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, reporting accidents, injuries, or hazardous conditions to management immediately. Maintain up-to-date certifications in CPR, First Aid, and any additional local or state requirements.
• Guest Care and Service: Promote and enforce resort rules to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests. Provide assistance to injured individuals until emergency medical services arrive, while maintaining professionalism and composure under pressure.
• Facility Maintenance: Assist in the upkeep of pool and beach areas, including folding and stacking towels, cleaning pool decks, and ensuring a pristine environment for guests.
• Professionalism and Team Collaboration: Represent the resort with a polished appearance, embodying the brand’s commitment to excellence. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by supporting colleagues and adhering to company policies on confidentiality and asset protection.
• Operational Excellence: Perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and transporting objects weighing up to 50 lbs (22.7 kg) independently, and assisting with heavier loads as needed. Maintain mobility and agility to navigate varied terrains, including slopes, stairs, and uneven surfaces.
• Guest Engagement: Greet and assist guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring their needs are met with efficiency and courtesy. Communicate clearly and professionally in all interactions, including phone communications.
• Adaptability: Remain flexible to perform additional duties as required to support the smooth operation of the resort.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, or run for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs (22.7 kg) independently, and assist with heavier loads. Must possess excellent hand-eye coordination and mobility to navigate various environments.
