Join our esteemed team as a dedicated Life Guard at our luxurious resort in Ummahat Islands, Red Sea, Saudi Arabia. In this full-time, non-management role, you will play a critical role in maintaining a secure, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for our guests while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and safety. As a Life Guard, your responsibilities will be both challenging and rewarding. You will be responsible for monitoring designated swimming areas with vigilance, ensuring the safety of all guests while promoting adherence to resort policies and procedures. Your proactive approach will be essential in identifying potential hazards, unusual activities, or individuals in distress, allowing you to intervene with appropriate rescue techniques and provide immediate assistance when necessary.

Beyond safety, you will serve as a key ambassador for our resort, embodying our commitment to exceptional service. Your role involves maintaining a cheerful and professional demeanor, assisting guests with any concerns, and ensuring their comfort throughout their stay. Additionally, you will contribute to the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, including the proper handling and storage of towels, as well as the upkeep of poolside areas.

Your responsibilities also extend to supporting our team by fostering a collaborative and respectful work environment. You will actively participate in safety training, obtain required certifications, and report any incidents, accidents, or maintenance issues to management promptly. Your attention to detail, physical stamina, and ability to respond swiftly in emergency situations will be paramount in ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our guests.

To excel in this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:

• Certifications: Valid certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), First Aid, and any additional certifications required by local or state agencies.
• Physical Fitness: Demonstrated ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, or running for extended periods, lifting objects up to 50 lbs (22.5 kg) independently, and assisting with heavier loads when necessary.
• Attention to Detail: Strong observational skills to identify potential hazards, equipment defects, or unsafe conditions.
• Communication Skills: Clear, professional, and courteous communication with guests and colleagues, including handling phone inquiries with poise.
• Adaptability: Ability to navigate various terrains, including inclined, uneven, or slippery surfaces, and perform tasks requiring fine motor skills and coordination.
