This dynamic position requires a hands-on professional with a strong foundation in technical maintenance, problem-solving, and customer-centric service. As part of our dedicated engineering team, you will be responsible for addressing maintenance requests, performing preventive and corrective repairs, and maintaining the highest standards of operational efficiency across our property.

In this full-time, on-site role based in Central Area District North of Al Masjid Al Nabawi, Madinah, Saudi Arabia, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional service while upholding strict safety, quality, and professionalism protocols. Your expertise will be instrumental in preserving the integrity of our infrastructure, equipment, and systems, ensuring a comfortable and secure environment for our guests and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities:

**Guest and Maintenance Support:**

• Respond promptly and professionally to guest repair requests, addressing maintenance issues with efficiency and courtesy to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Conduct daily inspections of tools, equipment, and mechanical systems, performing preventive maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubrication, and calibration to ensure optimal performance.
• Visually assess and diagnose technical issues across a broad spectrum of systems, including air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and kitchen equipment.

**Technical Excellence and Safety Compliance:**

• Operate and maintain a diverse range of equipment, from kitchen appliances to HVAC systems, vehicles, and landscaping tools, ensuring all functions align with industry standards.
• Familiarize yourself with and adhere to the **Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) system** to guarantee safe and compliant maintenance procedures during equipment servicing.
• Manage maintenance inventories, requisition parts and supplies as needed, and maintain accurate records of all work performed.
• Leverage basic computer skills to input schedules, adjust temperature settings, and manage engineering-related documentation.

**Guest Relations and Professionalism:**

• Welcome and engage with guests with warmth and professionalism, anticipating and addressing their needs while adhering to company standards.
• Assist individuals with disabilities and ensure all interactions reflect our commitment to inclusivity and accessibility.

**Physical and Operational Demands:**

• Perform a variety of physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds independently, and heavier loads with assistance.
• Navigate diverse environments, including stairs, ramps, ladders, and overhead spaces, to access and service equipment in various locations.
• Demonstrate adaptability in a fast-paced environment, where problem-solving and quick decision-making are essential.

Qualifications:

**Required:**

• A **high school diploma or GED equivalent** is mandatory for this role.
• A valid **driver’s license** is required to support operational tasks, including equipment transport and site inspections.
• Some experience in **general maintenance, surface preparation, painting, and both interior and exterior repairs** is preferred to ensure proficiency in core responsibilities.
• Experience in **hotel engineering or maintenance** is a significant asset, though not strictly required for entry-level candidates.

**Preferred:**

• Familiarity with **hotel operations, guest service standards, and technical systems** such as HVAC, electrical, and plumbing will enhance your ability to excel in this role.
