As the **Supervisor-Engineering**, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of technical integrity across all facilities. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring that tools, appliances, and equipment are installed, calibrated, and maintained to optimal performance. This includes conducting preventative maintenance, inspecting fire safety systems, and coordinating with management to enhance operational reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Maintenance & Safety Compliance: Install, maintain, and calibrate engineering equipment, including controls, gauges, and meters. Conduct regular inspections of fire sprinkler systems, alarm systems, and emergency protocols to ensure full compliance with industry standards and company policies.
• Disaster Preparedness & Response: Assist in developing and refining disaster response protocols, ensuring readiness for emergencies while maintaining a proactive approach to risk mitigation.
• Guest & Team Support: Address guest repair requests promptly and professionally, while fostering a collaborative work environment. Welcome and assist guests with disabilities, adhering to Sheraton’s commitment to inclusive service excellence.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead a team of engineering staff by overseeing hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations. Provide constructive feedback, coaching, and motivation to drive productivity and professional growth.
• Operational Efficiency & Innovation: Continuously identify opportunities to improve workflows, reduce costs, and enhance safety and quality standards. Implement best practices to optimize organizational performance.
• Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory, purchase orders, and maintenance logs. Ensure adherence to all company safety, security, and operational policies while reporting hazards or incidents promptly.
• Physical & Adaptive Work Requirements: Perform a variety of physical tasks, including lifting objects up to 50 pounds, operating power tools, and working in confined spaces. Ability to stand, bend, and maneuver in diverse environments is essential.

This role is ideal for individuals with a strong technical background, supervisory experience, and a commitment to excellence. While formal certifications are not mandatory, a **Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree** along with **at least 2 years of related engineering experience** and **2 years of supervisory experience** are preferred.
