Engineering Admin – Full-Time Maintenance Specialist

Reporting directly to the Engineering Department, you will play a critical role in maintaining seamless operations, resolving technical issues, and delivering exceptional service to guests and staff alike.

In this **full-time, on-site position** located in the Central Area District North of Al Masjid Al Nabawi, Madinah, Saudi Arabia, you will be responsible for a wide range of technical and administrative tasks that support the smooth functioning of our facilities. Your expertise will be instrumental in upholding high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency, while fostering a culture of proactive problem-solving and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

Your role will encompass both **preventive maintenance** and **reactive repairs**, ensuring all systems operate at peak performance. Key duties include:

• Guest and Maintenance Coordination: Respond promptly to guest repair requests and maintenance issues, communicating effectively to resolve concerns with professionalism and efficiency. Act as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries, ensuring swift resolution and guest satisfaction.
• Preventive and Corrective Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections, cleaning, and lubrication of tools, kitchen equipment, mechanical systems, and HVAC units to prevent downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Perform visual assessments of tools, machinery, and utilities to identify potential issues before they escalate.
• Technical Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and resolve a broad spectrum of maintenance challenges, including:
• Electrical systems (e.g., lamps, switches, outlets, extension cords, and internet devices)
• Plumbing (e.g., unclogging drains, fixing toilets, and leak repairs)
• HVAC and refrigeration systems, ensuring optimal temperature control and air quality
• Kitchen equipment maintenance and minor repairs
• Cosmetic and minor carpentry repairs (e.g., drywall, wood trim, and painting)
• Landscaping and irrigation system upkeep, including exterior repairs and sprinkler maintenance
• Inventory and Procurement Management: Maintain accurate records of maintenance inventory, requisition parts and supplies as needed, and ensure compliance with company standards for asset management.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere strictly to **Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols** before performing any maintenance work to ensure safety. Complete mandatory safety training and certifications, and promptly report any hazards, accidents, or injuries in accordance with company policies.
• Cross-Shift Communication: Provide daily reports on activities, completed tasks, and any issues encountered to facilitate seamless handover between shifts. Utilize approved communication platforms to ensure transparency and coordination.
• Guest Engagement and Service Excellence: Welcome guests with a warm and professional demeanor, anticipate their needs, and address concerns with genuine appreciation. Assist individuals with disabilities and ensure all interactions align with company standards for hospitality.
• Administrative and Technical Support: Perform basic computer tasks, including inputting air handler schedules and adjusting temperature settings. Maintain organized records of maintenance activities, inventory, and guest requests.
• Physical Demands: Execute tasks requiring physical agility, including lifting objects up to **50 pounds** independently and heavier loads with assistance. Navigate various work environments, such as stairs, ramps, ladders, and overhead spaces, while bending, twisting, and reaching as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

To excel in this role, you must possess:

• Certifications: A valid **driver’s license** is mandatory for this position.
